Want to thank Jack Hill and the other members of the SHMC New Jersey Chapter for their support and assistance with the Paul Seitz Memorial Ride that was held on March 19. 2011. Paul Seitz was a decorated police officer. He began his law enforcement career in 1980 with the Long Branch police. In 1991, he was named the New England narcotics officer of the year. That same year, he was awarded the Enrique Camarena Memorial Award for the largest cocaine bust in the history of Maine. Seitz returned to New Jersey in 1993 and worked for the Monmouth Beach police before joining the prosecutorâ??s office in 1996. On March 19, 2010, Paul passed away after a 6 year courageous battle with cancer.
